CE Marking — European Conformity

CE Marking on FENIER cabinets confirms the product has passed the conformity assessment required for sale in the European Economic Area. We test three things per shipment: structural strength of the cabinet body under EN 14749 (the European standard for domestic and kitchen storage units), migration of hazardous substances from surface coatings under EN 71-3 (toy-safety standard, the strictest finish test available), and corrosion resistance of stainless-steel substrates in humidity-cycling chambers.

Documentation travels with every container. Each shipment leaves with a Declaration of Performance (DoP), test certificates from the issuing lab, and a technical file that the importer can hand to any EU market-surveillance authority. For projects where the buyer needs EN 13501 fire classification on panels, we run the additional SBI test and ship a separate certificate — no project retesting required.

The CE mark is not a quality mark — it is a regulatory one. Quality is covered by ISO 9001 and by third-party audits (BV, SGS, Intertek). What CE guarantees is that nothing on the cabinet will fail a customs hold at Rotterdam, Hamburg, or any other EU port of entry. For distributors this means faster clearance, no storage demurrage, and a clean paper trail when your downstream customer audits your supply chain.
