FSC Chain-of-Custody Certified Wood
FSC-certified solid wood and plywood with full chain-of-custody documentation per shipment, qualifying for LEED v4 MR credit.
FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) tracks every piece of solid wood and plywood from the forest to the finished cabinet. FENIER holds a valid FSC CoC certificate, which means we can buy FSC-certified material from any supplier, mix it with controlled sources per the FSC mass-balance or credit model, and ship a finished product that bears the FSC label the buyer specifies.
LEED v4 gives 1 point under Materials and Resources Credit 3 (Building Product Disclosure) for FSC-certified wood in cabinetry. For commercial projects pursuing LEED Gold or Platinum, this is one of the easier points to claim when the cabinet supplier holds CoC documentation. The buyer submits our FSC certificate with the LEED submittal, no additional documentation required.
For hospitality and multi-family projects, FSC CoC also satisfies procurement specifications written by chains like Hilton, Marriott, and Accor, all of whom have committed to FSC-certified or recycled-content wood in their 2030 sustainability roadmaps. Supplying FSC cabinets from day one keeps the project aligned with the chain's targets and removes a common audit finding.
Audit-trail documentation that ships with every container.
Is FSC the same as "sustainable wood"?
